“Do you have a passion for the past? Do you like being outdoors? If so, the Museums of Western Colorado Gateway Paleontology Camp might be just the thing for you! Join paleontologists from Dinosaur Journey as you receive professional training in our lab and quarry site during the week. Then the team will venture down towards the Dolores River in the Gateway Canyons. Participants will camp out under the stars and work with our team of professionals to look for early dinosaurs and crocodile-like reptiles from rocks dating to over 200 million years old! Participants will have meals provided while the crew is in the field, along with camping accommodations.
Contact Curator of Education Rob Gay for more details: firstname.lastname@example.org
Cost: $620/student (includes City of Grand Junction Parks and Recreation fees)
